The Philipsburg Area Educational Foundation (A Montana Nonprofit Corporation)
PAEF History:
The Philipsburg Area Educational Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization which was founded on December 7, 1999. The Philipsburg area is in economic transition which has impacted the resources available for the education of its citizens. The Foundation was organized to expand the base of funds available to provide educational opportunities for our citizens.
Mission:
To generate and channel public and/or private resources to improve the quality of educational opportunity for the citizens of the greater Philpsburg area.
What We Do:
Gifts for the general use of the Foundation will generally be invested in an endowment fund. The income from the fund will be used to fulfill the Mission of the Foundation. You may, if you wish, direct your donation for use in a specific way within the Mission of the Foundation.
Programs we support:
Scholarships and Loans for college students.
Enrichment programs for school-age children in the arts and sciences.
Vocational/Technical Training
Adult Education.
Community Education such as training to use the internet.
Providing a forum for communication about education in Philipsburg.
After school or summer school enrichment programs.
